The Garden Group was let loose today as four of us joined Peter Aldred to begin preparing the walled garden for Spring. We attacked the moss which had grown on the beds over the winter (see before and after) and cleared branches and saplings in the wood behind. The rain stayed away and we had a lovely time. The February garden is quite bare with only witch-hazel and snowdrops out at the moment.
